These images were taken with a rose pulled from my garden.
Reverse mounted my Canon EF 18-55mm (kit) lens to my camera and shot extremely close up, hence the abstract blur.
David Brown was the inspriation for this series as he is constantly pushing other photograhers to be really creative within the abstract aspects of macro photography. I encourage you to check out his work. He’s an amazingly brilliant macro/nature photographer.
